Not real weird if you open your eyes and aren't biased and prejudiced like you are. Everyone who goes on and on about thinking floyd deserved win over pac claims Floyd would beat Bruce also?.
It's not a coincidence. All biased. Nobody who knows Bruce's story would conclude Floyd beats bruce. And because everyone knows Bruce's story, nobody thinks Floyd beats bruce here.
Bruce Lee is supposedly the most overrated fighter of all time? Well if a lot of people in this thread really think Floyd beats bruce, Bruce can't be that overrated can he?Last edited by hugh grant; 06-01-2020, 02:31 AM.Comment

Bruce Lee’s fighting style is formless? Yet somehow how the most stylized and imitated and parodied style of fighting ever? There’s weight classes in mma, boxing, amateur wrestling. Boxing fans constantly talk about even a couple pounds being a huge factor. Bruce weighed what 130lbs? Yeah I’m sure he could beat a lot of larger marginally skilled people. There’s physics involved. I’m sure he was fast. But what did he run a 40 yard dash? To put all his speed, power, reflexes, agility into another concept of say running back for the nfl? Would he run anyone over? He has one inch punch power right? He had an amazing physique, insane lats. But nobody actually fights like his style in real life. Id like to think that his discipline and work ethic would make him effective at learning a modern style. But that style is not what he came up with. Has anyone ever seen him get punched in the face for real? I’m sure there’s a ton of ex bouncers, security, military on this board that have been through way more violence than Bruce ever did. I mean Amir Khan had fast hands, so did Meldrick Taylor. The guy was a personality and an actor, and a martial “artist”, he has no real proof of being a reputable shoot fighter. He made sounds more like a female tennis player than anyone in a legit fight. That’s wasted energy. That’s all style. I respect the guy for capturing fans and hearts. Nobody ever saw him in a real fight. His myth is based on his likability. Tyson always looked great pounding the bag or ducking under a rope. Not the same. He had a three second clip of hitting mitts and people think he can be relevant again? He got beat up by McBride ages ago!!! We know no real truths about Bruce in combat. The conception after all this history is that u are born with punching power or not. So are we supposed to pretend his style teaches power? Then why did we lose his methods? Where are all the one inch punch knockouts? Oh yeah that’s a parlour trick. Just have ur friend stand perfectly still...Floyd fool fans always starting ****** threads.
Bruce Lee founded Jeet Kune Do "The way of the intercepting fist" in 1967, referring to it as "non-classical", suggesting that it is a formless form of Chinese Kung Fu. Unlike traditional martial arts, Jeet Kune Do is not fixed or patterned and is a philosophy with guiding ideas. Named for the Wing Chun concept of interception or attacking when one's opponent is about to attack, Jeet Kune Do's practitioners believe in minimal effort with maximum effect and extreme speed.
Wing Chun, Kickboxing, Escrima, Judo and Fencing are incorporated. Did you know that Bruce Lee watched films of the Mohammed Ali and incorporated his striking techniques and movements into the art of Jeet Kune Do.
Bruce Lee is a Martial Artist not a boxer. He is a legend.Comment

Wing Chun makes sense in principle but in application it falls fatally short against fluid, fast, fundamentally sound jabs and straights any day of the week and twice on Sundays.Floyd fool fans always starting ****** threads.

You are also not always on balance in a wing Chun stance, in boxing, if schooled properly, it's rare and often conscious choice, i.e. committing to throwing a punch that will render you vulnerable momentarily.Comment

My sons are both 2nd degree black belts Shōrin-ryū. Okinawa, Japan is the birthplace of karate and Shorin Ryu karate is the oldest and most traditional form of this Okinawan martial art. They are also 2nd degree black belts in Jiu Jitsu. One sensei is is a a teacher of Jeet Kune Do or Jun Fan Gung Fu. Another is a shodan in Muay Thai kickboxing. They have days where it is strictly Karate or . Other days where t is strictly Muay Thai. They have times where it is free style.
Oldest (26yrs) son was a lineman in football. He's gonna take you down (Jiu Jitsu), once your down it's over.
The younger one (24yrs) he's a boxer but watch out for the spinning reverse kick.
They have both been Martial artist since the oldest was in 1st grade and the younger son was 4 yrs old.
Oldest looks for ways to bring you down while the other wants no thought, no coaching he wants to feel.

And even you agree if they both win, it's because of skills outside of kung fu.My sons are both 2nd degree black belts Shōrin-ryū.
