Ummm.. this is just initial negotiations. Take it as a good sign, pac is willing to take the fight.

I don't think 20 mill is outrageous, but any way you look at it, you know Top Rank is going to have to make an investment. If they want Crawford to be a star they're going to have to pay SOMEBODY, pay a superstar, or pay a few popular names like Thurman, Garcia, Broner big dollars to fight Crawford. Cause besides the 38 year old, no one else is showing any interest in TC. It's Pac or bust for Top Rank. And Team Pac actually recognizes the situation. Unless of course Top Rank finds 100 mil to drag Floyd out of retirement and I'm not even sure Floyd ****s around with Crawford for that.

the guaranteed purses for cotto-canelo were 20MM.

        which did 900k buys.

pac-crawford would not do 900k or anywhere close. so to guarantee pac 20MM on his own ensures a money losing event. but it's a negotiation. arum would be able to knock several mill off that demand. but the show would still be a money loser. so he has to decide how much he's willing to lose to make sure crawford gets pac's scalp before it's too late.

Arum will find sponsors, should be easy for him, given that Crawford is a live opponent.

It would be his last fight but I doubt he gets 20 mil it's not like he's fighting Floyd... maybe 15 in Vegas because Pac knows he's going to get destroyed in this fight...

Boxing fans also wanted Kov v Ward and we all know how that turned out.

Having said that, Pac is still a star and he can pull in close to 500k on his own but thats not a big enough PPV number for a 20 mill guarantee.

I agree that he has the right to ask for such a guarantee but its unlikely he will get it.

                  yup.

                  pac knows he would lose....

basically a 20 mill fee to be a stepping stone.

What the hell are you talking about? Manny holds the record for the largest PPV in history. Do your research.
