I am neither a Khan fan NOR a Brook hater.

I am just a boxing fan. Pure and simple.

Trying to explain how ANY fighter gets to be #1 in any weight class is an exercise in futility. Good luck trying to figure that out.

As a true fight fan I do not think it is asking too much for a belt holder to meet his credible mandatory that has been calling him out for months.

Khan getting sparked out is totally irrelevant.

Brook should be charting his own course.

He is a good fighter or so one is led to believe.

An opportunity like Spence should be perfect for Brook.

Win, lose or draw, a fighter gains more respect and clout by meeting challenges that are stiff.

Spence presents that opportunity for Brook. Brook has to make it happen.

As a fight fan, that is all one can ask for.

Not interested in the pointless like and dislike of one fighter or another.

Khan talks a lot of shyt and this doesn't change my opinion about him, but I can't really discredit anything he's saying here. I think it's about as real as you can get.
      I agree on that

I probably would prefer to see each coming off a win but I think Spence beats Brooks.

Brook is vacating the title to fight khan. he doesn't want to be stripped. khan is using every excuses to duck. if he keeps doing that then he might as well get knocked out by spence.

Ok. well put.......in Khan's case trying track his elevation to no. 1, I fear I would need more than luck.

A perfect situation for Brook and his team would be to do their darnest to make the Khan fight.
Forget about tune ups. Make that fight before one of them loses again.
We still don't know how much either fighter has left after their last fights.
I suspect each left a piece of themselves in the ring in their last fights.

With or without a title on the line it will sell and both fighters and all involved will make good money. Name of the game.

Now even if Brook gets stripped, which is very likely, IF he can come out of a Khan fight with a good win I have no doubt that if he wants the Spence fight it will not be hard to make and that would be another money making opportunity for all involved.

Now here is a caveat. A Brook victory over Khan is not guaranteed no matter what anybody says.
This is boxing after all where fights are won in the ring and not on paper.

No matter how this shakes out, Brook and his team have to make a decision and fast.

Is it possible that haymon told khan to back off in order to allow spence to bring the title back to the stable.....its a win win for haymon....if spence loses khan still gets a payday.....if he wins....another title.out of the hands of gb and top rank

This, plus Khan will try to get out of it anyway he can.

I do agree with whats khans saying though, Brook should do his mando first. However if Spence gets offered step as side money and accepts it instead of fighting, I'd defiantly like to see Brook put one on Khan.

Or simply its a case of khan talking brook into dropping the title then pulling out of the fight. 2 months later its spence vs khan for the title and brook being locked completely out thus completing khans brook is not worthy masterplan.

Khan is totally trying to pass off Brook to Spence lmao. It's pretty funny to see. He won't fight Brook without a belt on the line, but he knows the only way that happens is if Brook fights Spence first.
