Pernell is one of the greatest boxers of all time and one of the most skilled boxers the world have seen.
Olympic Gold Medalist, Pan American Champion, World Amateur Championship Silver, 4 division champion, Undisputed lightweight champion, his first real and clear loss was past his prime against an undefeated atg in Felix Tito Trinidad.
Sadly his decisions outside the ring affected both inside and outside the ring, but he remains as a legendary boxer that arguably took the undefeated of Julio Cesar Chavez and Oscar Dela Hoya.
