Canelo and khan sold 400k, yes it was better by comparison to other ppv fights but it still wasn't a good number. Ppv for boxing was at a low in 2016 so having the 2nd best ppv numbers is kind of like the 2nd best player on your baseball team batting 250. Good by comparison but not very good in the overall picture.

400K is actually a very good number. Floyd and Manny have folks thinking PPV boxing is a million or bust.

Khan is still relevant, no matter how much you guys wana hate on him. The guys name pushed Canelo into doing boxings second biggest ppv of 2016. In fact, if you add p the supposed buys of Kov/Ward and Pac/Vargas, its tsill less than Canelo/Khan.

Canelo can't do those types of numbers without name opponents (Cotto, Floyd etc) and Khan was one of those names.

You can all keep hating but Khan v Brook would be a big event and Khan v Garcia would be a great fight.

The way Danny obliterated Khan knocking him from pillar to post and putting him on the canvass three times if I were Danny I'd tell him the rematch will happen!

Khan will not be fighting for another three years even his protective trainer Virgil Hunter acknowledges that one more loss and it's over that loss would definitely come at the hands of Brook,Garcia,Thurman, Spence, Bradley,Porter and Manny ...Khan would be lucky to get by any one of these guys ....his days are numbered , it's not years.

I would pick all the above guys to beat Garcia and we all saw why Danny would love a rematch with Khan!

He might as well face Garcia first because there's no guarantee that he beats Brook. How would it look if Garcia fights Khan after Brook has already beaten him?

I think it's a decent number not very good. Especially when golden boy was in record as projecting it to sell around a mil. Guess they thought that Canelo would shoot to megastar status after beating cotto. Either way, khan isn't as big a star as he thinks he is and people lose interest with him with each ko.

Yeah, but he always looks good in the first couple rounds, because of his speed and reach.

Besides his chin, a big problem is, that he is so damn predictable. He is not a counterpuncher, he just flurries and it doesnt take too long until his opponent can time him.
He has fast feet, but always moves straight back to the ropes. He has no inside game at all. Only knows how to fight in range.

But still, his biggest weakness is his garbage chin.

I have to disagree with "beating the breaks" off him. Khan was ahead as he is a front runner and Garcia picks up later, but Garcia was punching with him and set the tone for what Canelo would end up doing in their fight. His body shots early were doing damage and he was countering with that hook often. He even hurt Khan a couple of times with it before the big one. Khan would stop punching and move when Garcia landed and eventually it was over with.

would love to see either him avenge his 2012 loss or get KTFO again. Either way I hope this fight happnens if not Khan v Brook, or would actually like both fights to happen.

it was actually his neck this time. Just means he has a glass neck as well as a glass chin.
