The fact that nobody knew who the **** Collazo was before the fight makes the impact even greater.

I mean let me say this: If everyone thought Collazo was PBF standard, for example, and then Hatton sc****s out a decision against him, he would be the next best thing since My-ham-head Ali.

But since Collazo was just a "bum" apparently, it causes people to get really excited about this...

Perhaps Collazo was a good fighter afterall. And when you take that into consideration, you realise how well Ricky did...

If you sincerely think after seeing the fight in it's entirety that Hatton is a better fighter than Collazo, then you are biased. I am not a Collazo fan(never was), but he proved to be a better fighter than Hatton, plain and simple.

Collazo did everything better than Hatton.... boxing, defense, combinations, ring generalship,....oh and he followed the rules.

...and hitting the canvas in the first 11 seconds. Collazo lost, it was a fair decision, was not a robbery. if you want to talk robbery, mention Castillo-Mayweather or Sturm-ODH...not this fight

Cotto beat N'dou, Corley, Sosa, Torres, Abdulaev, Maussa, Bazan, Martinez, Pinto, Bailey, Jukko, Ceballos 4 of which were WORLD CHAMPIONS.

Emmanuel Steward stated "Cotto has the best 25(now 26) fight resume in boxing today."

I never stated robbery, and I agree with you Castillo/Mayweather and DLH/Sturm were both robberies, but this fight was not.

I thought that it was very close, but at the end of the night if you compare what both boxers did, it is apparent that Collazo did everything better. He did get lazy in some of the middle rounds but overall, he did a better job.

He was exposed, but look how he won, and he was ahead on the cards, and he won by TKO, and he looked impressive while doing so. He overcame adversity in that fight, he adjusted and won big time, Hatton did not.

Ok just think about your example. Torres was undefeated when he fought Cotto and had supreme power (knocked out most of his opponents). Cotto was able to stand toe-to-toe and knock out Torres giving him his first loss. Collazo has one loss by TKO and has no power. He almost knocked Hatton out and swolled up his face. Cotto had a greate opponent, had difficulty, proved himself by KOing Torres. Hatton never had a chance in the fight after that first round. He couldn't hurt Collazo.

Hatton wins the fight on all three judges cards .against a genuine world title holder, whilst having a bad day.

**** me Hattons even better than I thought..
Imagine what he will do on a good day...

Won big time...if torres had time to prepare properly for that fight, meaning his conditioning was a tad bit better, he would have annhilated Cotto and people like you would be riding the Columbian bandwagon...it didn't happen...but I remember when Torres landed a huge right and cooto looked like he was going to fall, but he froze for a second and this look came over his face like he never had been hit that hard. LOL, it was priceless. Torres should get a rematch. This is the only oppenent that Cotto has fought with this type of power
