    Get over Collazo please.

I don't see where all this Collazo nuthugging is coming from. Nobody except a couple of rouge PR posters were supporting him before the fight....and now all of a sudden I see "told you so" and "Collazo is an A class fighter".

That's nonsense. Hatton struggled because it was his first time at welterweight.....going up against a southpaw who's style ultimately led to him having problems. Deal with it.

It doesn't mean Hatton is "overrated"....and it sure as hell doesn't mean Collazo is "underrated".

Hatton is the world class fighter here, and he won a close decision...in a close fought affair against a little known Brooklyn native that is still a little known brooklyn native.

    Lets leave it at that.

It's not so much the Collazo nuthuggin it's the Hatton nuthuggin. Everyone has excuses on why Hatton wasn't himself. They put him on a high stool on this board but we found out he is nothing fighting here in the states. He got beat up by a "little known Brooklyn native" and that's what all the fuss is about.

everyone should know if they are true fans of the sport...no fighter is infallible or unbeatable, thats why they fight! I haven't heard this much B.S. about Collazo and how everyone knew him before the fight blah blah blah...everyone is on his **** now because he gave Hatton a bit of trouble, thats it.

People will be back on Hattons nuts when he beats an orthadox fighter with a bigger reputation.

I never saw Collazo fight before. I tought Hatton was going to handle him with ease. It's just surprising how ppl where sayin he could beat Cotto and Mayweather. Here comes Collazo which is not on the top-level of the sport, unheard of by many, and no power and almost knocks Hatton out! I just don't want to hear no more Hatton can beat Mayweather nuthuggin no more cuz he obviously can't compete at his level or even lower level.

I have question...who has Cotto beat?!?! WHO?!?!?!!? Everybody dogs these european fighters and Cotto almost lost to Torres. Torres rung his bell many times during that fight. Cotto does not deserve to be mentioned with Mayweather. If there ever was a band-wagon fighter, its Cotto. This bias against european fighters needs to go away, because they are here to stay and they are taking belts

Yep, the fact that Collazo didn't really fight the whole fight like he could have, which he would have won easily, says he may not be the biggest name among the welters, but he was more than enough to expose Hatton....

Collazo did what Hatton didn't do,...win over the fans by being the better fighter.

If you sincerely think after seeing the fight in it's entirety that Hatton is a better fighter than Collazo, then you are biased. I am not a Collazo fan(never was), but he proved to be a better fighter than Hatton, plain and simple.

Collazo did everything better than Hatton.... boxing, defense, combinations, ring generalship,....oh and he followed the rules.
