Will Kell Brook Vacate His IBF Title To Avoid Spence Jr and King Khan?

As we know, Spence Jr is Brook's mandatory and Khan's made it abundantly clear that he wants to fight Brook for the title should he be victorious in that mandatory defense. But it's widely believed that Brook avoided Alexander (twice), Bundu, Rios, Thurman and Bradley in the past.

Based on his past history of avoiding numerous fighters, the question now comes up as to whether he will vacate the IBF title to avoid Spence Jr and, in effect, also avoid Khan? Rumours abound that Brook is discussing with his promoter Eddie Hearn to drop the title so that he can return to fighting similar low-level opponents he fought since acquiring the title (Gavin, Bizier, Dan).

After literally a bone-crushing defeat to Golovkin, will Brook vacate and return to fighting low-level opponents as he has for most of his career, or will he keep hold of his title, fight Spence Jr and, if victorious, even face one of the ultimate challenges at 147 - Amir Khan? How do things play out from this point on?

You're the only person in the world that thinks Khan isn't the one ducking.

I thought Khan was finally going to nut up and fight Brook, but no he's coming up with another lame reason to avoid Brook.

Brook avoided nearly every decent (or even half-decent) fighter at 147 so wouldn't it be logical to say it's probable he'll avoid Spence and Khan again?

You're a very poor troll. The success to trolling is to argue about something that could be debatable. Khan has avoided Brook at every opportunity, that isn't debatable.

Don't agree with the above. If anything, Brook is the opposite. He's been calling out Khan for years and the GGG fight puts any talk of him ducking fighters to sleep. I've noticed that in order to be a Khan fan you have to hate Brook. If you like both it creates a rift in the space time continuum.

Brook is the one who avoided numerous fighters, lets stick to the facts not wishful thinking. Your perception of Khan "avoiding" Brook is a misnomer. Khan took tough fights throughout his career, he doesn't have a track record of avoiding fighters like Brook has.

The thread relates to whether Brook will avoid Spence and effectively avoid Khan by vacating the title, based upon Brook avoiding many fighters in the past.

Brook is one tough dude man.

It's best to not estimate him... he'll bust up spence or khan imo

Brook only called out GGG after Khan announced that he was fighting Canelo. That fight would never have happened if Khan didn't fight Canelo, it was a straight up imitation.

By taking one tough fight at a higher weight, where he was the underdog and expected to lose, and getting the highest payday of his career, it doesn't eradicate the fact that Brook avoided numerous fights in his own division.

He had the balls to move up and face the most dangerous guy in the game triple OG so you have no point.
