And some of the greats have eaten a hamburger. But eating a hamburger doesn't make you a world champion.I really hope this is a joke..Seems like the Eubanks are really out of their minds...but these are matters we as fans don't necessarily know are true, but what is true is the irrelevancy of his opponent and the ridiculous fact that it is on ppv!!!!as for the IBO title I cant really agree with it being an obscure title some of the greats have held this title...Jones..pac..Hopkins..Klit..And countless others..
The IBO is not a recognized world championship and the best fighters in the world do not pursue the IBO title unless it's in addition to a recognized title so they can trick people into thinking they have an extra world title.
Winning the IBO title will not make Eubank a world champion. He's free to fight for whatever title he wishes, but if he wants to be recognized as a world champion, he has to win one of the four titles the world recognizes. The IBO is not one of them.Comment

Can you blame him when your own promotor does you that wrong??? I mean the ink wasn't even dry on the Brook/GGG fight and he was saying sht like this???
"Chris Eubank Sr.'s "crazy demands" cost his son a £3 million fight against Gennady Golovkin, according to promoter Eddie Hearn."

And I thought Bob Arum dissing Tim Bradley after he beat Pac was bad???Comment

The WBO is a bigger joke than the IBO..I believe some countriea don't even recognize the WBO..I never said some of the greats perused it, but plenty of them have held itAnd some of the greats have eaten a hamburger. But eating a hamburger doesn't make you a world champion.

I never said the IBO was a joke. I simply said it's not recognized by the boxing industry as a world championship. I agree the WBO is a joke. I personally don't recognize the WBO, but the sport of boxing does.
Some big names have held the WBU, WBF, etc titles as well. Doesn't mean they are recognized world championships.
The WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO all recognize each other and nobody else.Comment

When you know you won't be working with someone again as your relationship has irretrievably broken down then you have nothing to lose by revealing the cause of the breakdown. It also protects you from picking up the tab - he has other boxers who might be thinking of joining him - he wants to smell of roses not turds. Can you blame him when your own promotor does you that wrong??? The same can be said of Eubank Sr. When you have zero intention of going to a party/event then you have nothing to lose getting under the skin of someone you dislike, especially when he is the one inviting you to the event.
All Eubank Sr. has to do now is come out and say he'd have to be paid before he'd go. If Hearn had said yes to an appearance fee he could have still said "no" but gone to the press saying Hearn Sr is so desperate for people turning up to his party that he is paying them. Nasty people the lot of them.Comment
Eubank just earned my respect
