there are pro MMA and kickboxers with boxing titles.

but there are no boxers with MMA titles.

MMA is a much tougher sport than boxing. it's just a fact.

They are different sports, success in one is no guarantee of anything in the other.

Holly Holm (boxing champ turned MMA fighter) was the UFC bantamweight champ for women.

Who are all these MMA fighters turned Boxing champs (and don't offer up some NABF North American champ b.s., since I named the premier organization)?

WTF? lol. I told the guy NOT to take the bait in a thread that was trolling GG fans. When people don't take the bait, the thread dies and the GG trolling dies. How you could possibly have interpreted my post to be anti-GG is a sad statement about your mind.

Id say MMA would be perfect for him, id say his boxing skills are on par with a Chuck Liddel or Tim Sylvia from back in the day.

GGG doesn't fight like that at all. According to computerbox who have no reason to lie GGG is at the top along with Ward and Loma as having the best ratio of punches landed to punches received. GGG has never lost a fight and never loses more than 2 rounds in any fight. How could a boxer who has won almost all of about 400 amateur fights and every one of 36 pro fights, 33 by KO be as slow and sloppy as you are pathetically trying to say he is? You make yourself look like a fool trying to say GGG can fight and isn't popular. He is popular enough that a fight between him and Canelo is thought to be the biggest money making fight that can be made in boxing today. You seemed to have joined this forum for the sole purpose of trashing GGG. Don't you realize he never reads all the hateful stuff you write about him? All this nasty stuff you say about GGG is neither true or amusing or funny. You seem to be absolutely consumed with hate for him and that says a lot about what kind of person you are.

You don't have the amateur career he had without being able to box. I can't believe the amount of disrespect there is towards GGG on here. I think he's great to watch and as boxing fans we're lucky to have him. The bottom line is that nobody wants to fight him and you can't blame him for that. Jacobs has got the balls to fight him and canelo hasn't. It's that simple.

Do we want a good forum with opinions based on facts and research or some kids BSing?

I am sure you are correct. Next time this guy trashes GGG which will probably be ten minutes from now I will just ignore it. He is never going to change anyway.

I think any boxer would murder mma fighters if they learned to avoid take downs like Connor.

It's a much tougher sport and yet the most any MMA fighter has ever made for 1 fight is 3 million bucks. Mayweather made about 50 times that much for 1 fight and Pacquiao made about 30 times that much for the same fight. So boxing is an easier sport that pays many times better than MMA. I guess pro boxers are just more intelligent than the tough, hard working, underpaid MMA fighters..
