Corrales has an actual reason to believe he is FOTY, beating Uchiyma twice isn't anything ordinary

I've seen some people who think it was close but I saw it like the judge who had it wide. Uchiyama didn't land much until later in the fight and whereas Corrales' punches were not the hardest he was landing regularly throughout the fight. Competitive but not close although Corrales looked very tired and weak in the last few rounds. Corrales just had too much speed and skill for Uchiyama.

          You're serious too aren't you?

Uchiyama had to decent wins and never fought out of Japan and did I mention he is old af too? Good wins for Corrales nonetheless but nothing FOTY worthy.

Japan has the fairest judges imo. Ive seen so many fights where the home fighter in Japan lost a close decision.

Japanese people are very respectful overall, i like them, they seem to believe in honor.

Uchiyma was a top 20 p4p fighter before his losses, it was two A-Class wins in the same year, the guys being mentonied are Lomachenko who had an B-Class win and an A-Class win, and Smith Jr who had two B-Class wins, Corrales just become a player P4P with these two wins
