Yeah but PPV prices have continuously gone up while the national economic situation has been stagnant as inflation on consumer goods further decreases spending power. Why pay $65-$70 for a PPV when you could stream it for free?

I agree that the majority of PPV buys probably were from Kovalev crowd because I really don't trust the Ward fanbase those are the type of 'hardcore' fans who would rather stream the fight for free because they care about boxing.
Kovalev has been giving entertaining fights pretty consistently, he was the world champion and even in this fight he was the only one making it what it was it would have been much more boring If Ward got his way and that's not due to Ward schooling him more so due to Ward fouling and cheating throughout the fight but Kovalev dealt with Ward well.

Really is sad that Ward has no fans, couldn't attract flies to shiet.

Thats a little silly to say bro. How are you attacking people for choosing a free stream rather than paying for a fight and making it seem as if these people cannot truly care about boxing? Do you have kids or pets? Suppose a service opened up where your kid or pet could receive free medical care service that is equivalent to that you would pay for at a vet or doctor, would you not get the free health care rather than pay? And if you did get the free care would that all of a sudden mean you don't care about doctors or vets?

Seems like a lot of people are just bitter and looking for things to complain about with arguments like this.

Before the Mayweather era it does a million is such BS

Before Mayweather came along and made non HW fights reach a million plus on the regular

The poster boy of boxing Oscar cracked a million 2 times without Floyd once in the mega fight with Trinidad which did 1.4 and once with Hopkins which did a million

The truth is before Mayweather and when HBO actually had a decent budget to put on big fights Kov /Ward would have been on regular HBO neither have a huge fanbase and it's been shown Kov when he's the A-side can't draw flies to sh.it.( Middle school football games have had better attendance then his fight with Mohammedi )

The only reason it was on PPV is because HBOs budget is sh.it compared to what it once was

But let's blame Mayweather for this PPV not living up to many expectations

But it's clear your still bitter from the result that's why you need to point out that Ward doesn't fight out of his own country. Like fighting in Russia would have generated anywhere near that type of revenue. That's why Kovs fought there once since he came stateside against a essentially a no name and pretending like Russian judges wouldn't be 10x more biased then the American judges
