This has to do a lot more about marketing the fight compared to the fighters themselves.

Roc Nation and Main Events poorly marketed this fight plain and simple. There was very little national advertising and media marketing on this fight.

Blame the promoters not the fighters.

HBO needs to do a much better job getting these promoters to market there pay per view cards and there regular cards in general on there network.

HBO should reward promoters who get the most viewership and pay per view buys for the network in my opinion. That would give the promoters more incentives to do a better job.
