no everything pre fight said he should have beat ward and should have beat him easy, but everything in the fight said it was a close fight that he deserved to lose.. STOP BABYING HIM..he lost fair and square all his headlocks and wrestling instead of putting on more punishment was his down fall..he got sharp shooted with step in jab to the body and head and beat up good on the inside at time as his big head shots stopped landingComment

He has fought at light heavy as an amatuer since 2007 and that limit was 178lbs. Thats 10 years ago and the guy is 33 years old now and at 6'1" he struggles to make 175lbs. (so does Ward) Why fans think it's so easy for some men to make a weight limit of 175 when they actually weigh 190+ when the bell rings!!!
I personally would like to Koval and Ward fight Stevenson. I think Stevenson could present problems being a southpaw and having some pop too.
The rematch is on Duva, sorry but they have to pony up now!
WEards people greased him and now it's Duva Time!
You see when you have good fighters who really aren't great ones eventually you can't sell the match ups as "great fights"
Lil' Floyd did because half the buyers were watching to see him loose.................hahahaha!!! He knew how to play the "heel card" the "Krusher BS" is cartoonish and Ward is strategists that needs an opponent to carry the promotion. Koval can't do that he simply doesn't have the personality.
If both these promotion companies had a brain they'd realize these guys need each other and the rematch should already be booked.
In New York City at Barclays or the Garden and hope that it's another close fight with Koval on top. Then you have the third match up and there's your trilogy.
Or mix in Stevenson and take a chance of him ruining everything? ha!

Kovalev lost to the pen of the judges. Ward never beat Kovalev, all honest boxing judges will tell you that.
Ward knows perfectly well who won the fight and it is not him. That is the reason he is looking for the "money" excuse to avoid the fight with Kovalev.Last edited by LoveWisdomTruth; 01-01-2017, 02:44 PM.Comment

It's remarkable how many just plain wrong statements can be made in one rambling, ill informed post.kov gets way to much credit considering that he was basically playing catch up to adonis's resume that was build in 2014...also remember that bhop turned down canadian and us ppv money to fight stevenson on showtime so without the fear of stevenson from bhop/golden girl promotions kov wouldnt have 1 name on his resume...ducking the adonis purse bid was the final straw!...now he's saying "i was already at the top" lol HOW?!!
Stevenson ducked Kovalev.
Stevenson ducked old man Hopkins.
Stevenson ducked Pascal.
Stevenson has been totally irrelevant as a world champion since 2014.
The only opponent he faced since then who was an actual contender was Fonfara and he almost got his ass knocked out.
Why you have a hard on for Stevenson is beyond me. He is one of the most illegitimate "world champions" out there and a prime example of how the politics of boxing and lack of universal rankings and necessary enforcement allows title holders to pick and choose their opponents and avoid the top contenders and other belt holders in their division.Comment
