compubox is one aspect of a multi-dimensional puzzle

    compubox is also inaccurate

+/- does tell a story, IF the inaccuracies were measured similarly across the board..... but it does not allow for styles

and it always favors defence-first technicians

especially when they fight guys with Molina's style

It actually favors the high volume fighters. Prior to the Frampton fight Leo Santa Cruz was at the top or near the top of Compubox +/-. When you have a style like his where he throws well over 70 punchers per round and you match him up with low tiered opponents with no defense you're going to get a high +/-.

If you do the math, it all adds up to equal an azz whoopin' for Pacquiao!

the equation is +/-..... so defence counts

+/- favors the skilled defence-first technician

Mayweather threw very little, but he wasted nothing..... he was MUCH BETTER than anyone on this list for about a decade

also, the figures will level off over time

and level of opposition counts, so rookie/untested fighters can be misleading

I think Crawford is a victim of his own success in a way. Had the Postol fight been more competitive, people might not be so quick to overlook the value of that win. And, his dominance in that fight made the booking of the Molina fight seem even more ridiculous.
Ganted, he's not my pick for FOTY, I'm running w/ Loma on that one, but I do respect that Crawford is a reasonable choice and I can see people making a legitimate argument for him there.

he beat up a bum and one fighter who was pretty decent. Hardly FOTY worthy is it. Postol had beat one good fighter (matthyse) someone who garcia, alexander and judah had also beat, wow how amazing. He wasnt some world class fighter, never looked that great to me. DOnt think its great to be gving FOTY to a criminal either, he should be spending his xmas rotting in jail to atone for his crimes, only got away with it cause hes rich and can pay bail.
