I've been picking Jack simply because he is more consistent over 12 rounds and I foresaw DeGale letting it slip away, but if he has really sorted his conditioning out and learnt how to pace a fight properly then his superior talent should carry him to victory

Nutritionists in boxing have become adept at micro-dosing PED's and using nutritional methods to mask and purge the body of the PED's before a drug test. Note that Daniel Jacobs hired Chris Algieri as his nutritionist in prep for the GGG bout, prob for the same reasons.

I'm more interested in seeing how Badou Jack performs w/o Memo in his camp anymore. Per his twitter account, he dropped Memo a week before he signed up for the WBC Vada testing program.

It's funny how so many guys got by so well without so called "strength and conditioning". And so many who later implemented it got worse.

It's been long overdue. He needs to train like a pro to give him the best chance to win fights.

I don't expect to see huge improvements so soon, but I hope to see at least some improvements from his last two fights. Can't wait, should be a good one.

because it's hard to find a good s&c coach and it takes time for the coach to get to know the athlete. can't use the same training method in every athlete/boxer

This is true. I do think that some of these guys should use more energy on boxing drills though. I remember watching Enzo Macrinelli preparing for fights after leaving the Calzaghes lifting barrels and pushing the weighted sled, when he needed to practice head movements alot more. Then Ofalabi knocks him out but instead of going back to boxing he was always trying to find a new s&c edge. It's madness at times with these guys.
