I'm starting to think Verdejo won't realize his potential.

      Just a hunch feeling.

Most belts are meaningless. Too many titles. There should only be ONE WORLD Champion per division.

I had said during the beginning of 2016 that, IMO, Christopher "Pitufo" Diaz was a better, more entertaining, more focused and more disciplined fighter and so far Verdejo has done nothing to prove me wrong. His lackluster fights against less-than-top notch opponents are not helping his cause either. Hopefully this will be the year he proves me wrong. We'll see...

I'm Puertorican, and for me,as of now, the best PR figther is Pedraza by far.

Does anyone know how I can get tickets to his next fight in PR? Would love to go down there for the weekend and catch some fights too, but I can't find tickets online anywhere.

Flanagan by dec or late stoppage. No way they get this in P.R. and Verdejo has had a sugar coated career so far. He's never fought away from his comfort zone, or anybody with skill. He's fed on face fighters, hair dressers, and had every advantage available. This will haunt him on PR day in NY. Juanma has bragging rights so far, age before beauty and a great side show, then Pedraza, Sosa, Pitufo...... Verdejo is diminished by his own protection.

Verdejo seems to lack the mental aspect to become a champion, i was so high on him.
