Mayweather and Manny both fought tons of catch weights against guys from bigger weightclasses where they didn't come close to the contract weight. The weight is for the bigger man, while they come in at or slightly above their normal weight to keep their quickness. Canelo likely comes in no more then 160 or slightly below.

Honestly, I don't even think Chavez can make that weight. Wtf are they thinking? I have a hard time believing he could do it, even if he was a super motivated and non-slacking Chavez.

But here's the thing... I can actually favor Chavez to win if he is motivated and puts his talent to use, although, that would be at maybe 168. Again, I don't see Chavez possessing that mentality at this point.

may v Canelo, the offiical weigh in 24 hours before was 150.5 for Mayweather, he was only 1.5lb away from the 152 catchweight. So thats hardly not coming close to the contract weight.
