  • Jacobs Best Win Versus Golovkin's Best Win

    Daniel Jacobs -

    Gennady Golovkin -

Both are great wins but I have to go with the Quillin win, but that's the only good win Jacobs has had, Golovkin has had many decent and good wins, let's just hope for an all action fight

It's obviously Quillin between the two fighters. But Quillin was asking for something like 5-10m to fight GGG so....

Lemieux has fought the same guys as Quillin, he just beat them much better. Lemieux > Quillin, also Murray > Quillin. Quillin is terrible. Lemieux had 2 losses but that was when he was 21-22 years old and green, he is much improved.

It's not obvious at all, Quillin's best win is the same as Lemieux's best win. After that win, Quillin fought no one for years and looked terrible against mediocre competition. He was arguably losing to Gabe Rosado and at the very least had a close, competitive fight on his hands.

So no, it's not obvious that a guy whose best win is Hassan N'Dam and could barely beat Gabe Rosado is better than more accomplished middleweights that Golovkin beat. Golovkin has at least 4 wins that are at least equal to Quillin, if not better.

True but someone is always going to bring up the fact that Lemieux has 2 loses and that makes Quillin better and what not so I went by 'their' logic in regards to that.

              Best win geale?, nope.

Best win is up until now, Murray...I. dont need to mention why, its obvious. Lemieux is right below murray just because of the belt doesnt make him big challenge

Lemieux would beat both Geale and Murray so I'd say Lemieux is GGG's best win.

Quillin was a very good win. He caught him cold in the first round and didn't let him of the hook. Even though it was impressive I think it's more impressive to systematically break your opponent down, take away his weapons and finish him like GGG did against Lemieux.

For me prime Geale is the best of any of GGG's opponents, dude absolutely outclassed the Felix Sturm coming off of the Zbik win. Murray hasn't s win like that throughout his career and really Lemiuex is nothing more than a big puncher, their is more to boxing than huge overhand rights.
