The Quigg win is overrated. Not only was it a miserable fight, but Quigg had an inflated record. I rate Lomachenko going up a weight class and stopping Martinez as the far superior win.

Quigg was/is stil on the way up, it can be sometimes difficult to judge a fight like that, Quigg is only 28 still on the up and just stopped a guy in his rebound fight that took Leo to a decision.

Santa Cruz a more proven commodity than Quigg, and again a guy who is still young and may accomplish a lot more in the sport.

Martinez was 33 - very battle worn, he is someone who has fought at a high level but failed most of those tests pretty convincingly - its a good win for Lomachenko over a titlist, but it would have been much better had he fought Martinez earlier in his career.

I think for those reasons it can't be considered in the same league as Frampton's wins. The guy was well over the hill and 33 is reaching pretty old for a lower weight class fighter. The nature/dominance of the victory shouldn't trump the level of competition. Martinez was ripe for the taking.

Glad he at least got it with ESPN. Good to see him get some recognition. Not a fan or anything but he deserves it.

            deserved.
literally hardly anyone was picking frampton to win before the fight, myself and around 7 or 8 others were picking him on the poll on here if i recall correctly.

and practically every single boxing pundit was predicting a santa cruz shut out win or stoppage...

This ducker shouldn't be rewarded for anything. Unfortunately he will be rewarded.
Frampton didn't want anything to do with Rigo and won't want anything to do with Valdez or Russell next year I bet.
He's going to fight LSC then expect fights against Selby and Mares afterwards.
Hopefully Lomacheko gets a chance to beat this guys ass next year for stealing his award, but guess what? Frampton won't want it.
