And in making a bet, we members of this site, pretty much have advantage because of the said objective analysis and opinion made by those pure boxing afficionados and experts here in the BOXINGSCENE irregardless of their own personal whims and caprices.

Last week, I made a bet with my friend here in the ofc. 5,000 pesos or almost equivalent to $100.00 winning the same amount of money. One is to one. I'm rooting for Pacquiao and he is for Larios. What are the chances that Larios will be able to pull a win over PAC considering all the odds against him? I'm so threatened by his(my officemate's) confidence on Larios. Is there something I failed to analyse in both their streghted and weaknesses? May I please solicit an OBJECTIVE and UNBIASED answer from you guys??

(By the way, I choose Pac to win not necessarily because Im a Filipino myself but because, he is younger, stronger, faster and has already fought in 130 lbs.)TNX
Even bet? Don't let him change his mind!

I'm guessing your friend is impressed by Chololo's height advantage 5'8 to Pacquiao's close to 5'7). But he should have learned that all of Larios' losses were to shorter opponents: Israel Vasquez (5'6), Willie Jorin (5'5) and Agapito Sanchez (5'4).

Vasquez (to whom Oscar lost in his last fight, suffering a KD in the first, before the fight was stopped on cuts in the 3rd) also trains at Wild Card in LA and is sometimes Pac's sparring mate.

Its all good kabayan, anything to talk positively about Pacquiao I plan on putting all my points on the line for Pacquiao, its money in the bank. Maybe I'll even throw a couple bucks on it also, **** it. Hopefully I'll find a spot with ****** odds so I can rip them off.

I guess his confidence stemmed up because of the pre-fight hype the local tv network(ABS-CBN) here in the philippines, is building on LARIOS.I guess in order to boost up the ticket sale. But, lucky me, im a member of this site You guys should now better, boxing is your expertise

It's all that Pac is going to destroy Larios talk that's going to doom Pac. If he buys into it. With a 3rd Morales fight already lined up, I would not be surprise if Pac looked past Larios. Which would be a mistake. Larios is no push over. With Morales, Barerra and Marquez (yeah, he lost) all losing to Pac. Larios will be hyped up for this fight. He knows a win over Pac will make him huge in Mexico. He'll ain't going let that chance go by without trying his damn best. I'm not saying a nomal Pac loses. But an unfocused Pac does. If anything the hype around this fight is similar to this weekends fight. Hatton was supposed to destroy Collazo. Just like Pac is suppose to destroy Larios. Didn't quite happen like that did it?

Thats bull**** though, everyone knows Pacquiao is gonna knock him out in the 3rd fight. Gamble a little Manny, live a little. How about you jump off the Chrysler Building if Juarez loses to Barrera Thats called playing with fire.

Id say the odds are 20-1 in your favor. Dont worry about his confidence, you should have even more confidence that you will win.
actually larios can hang, as u should know that was a rubbermatch and the fight was stopped because of a nasty cut that can happen to any boxer at anytime in a fight, its not like he got knocked out or anything. Pac should win, but it aint gonna be as easy as most of the fans are predicting, u made a good bet, u should double ur bet if u really want to gamble, but I dont think its gonna be that easy as most people claim it will, I remember everybody sayin pac was gonna ko morales real in there first fight and i told everyone different, although he did in the 2nd fight theres still a 3rd one on the way and morales will triumph as long as pac gets past larios.
