What would be better for boxing? Golovkin moving up or staying at 160?

If he moves up, he can make fights with:

Zurdo Ramirez, Degale, Chavez jr, Eubank jr who might move up.

If he stays at 160, he can make fights with:

Canelo, Jermall Charlo and Lara who said they are moving up and Eubank jr.

What do you think it's best for boxing? and what is more challenging?

Boxing needs Golovkin vs. Canelo. Outside of that, there's not much difference between his potential opponents

He's fighting Jacobs next which is a good fight for him, but if he can't get Canelo in his next fight he should just move on and step up a weight class. There's a handful of fights at 168 for him which he's in desperate need of. He's 34 years old now. If he's bothered about his legacy, he'll do the move.

If he's going to be able to make the best fights he can at this weight, staying here is fine. For now Jacobs is a perfectly fine reason to stay and so would Canelo.

People wanted him to move up when he was signing fights with Brook and Wade that no one really cared for.

All we need is for GGG to fight Danny and then Canelo in Sept 2017. If the Canelo fight doesn't get made, I hope he makes the best fight -either Charlo or go up. Just no more easy bums.

Go wherever the fights are at. This whole, "Why go to 168 when Canelo is at 160" idea is based in a lie. How long is he supposed to wait around for a guy who isn't even officially a MW and just fought at JMW? Even if Canelo goes to MW, how long will Golovkin wait for the actual fight? This could easily turn into another 2 years. You want GG fighting Canelo at 37 years old?

Fk waiting around on one fighter. Golovkin should grab whatever legacy-building fights he should get, be they at 160 or 168.

              why not both?

              why not rule 160-168?

i mean if you can rule 168, you can rule 175lbs. 168=175. basically the same phsysical frame.

but if he has to choose one division, i say stay at 160lbs. there are more notable up and comers coming from 154 to 160. 168 is kinda dead right now with all the names at 175....

why not both is my answer with staying at 160 as teh 2nd best option...

168 would do the same thing to Golovkin that 160 has been. Duck.

By ok-ing the move up because he can't get a fight at 160 we are saying it is ok to duck the best. After a eubank jr canelo and bjs fight then I want to see him move up. If Golovkin doesn't get a fight with those guys right after Jacobs then yes 168 is best for boxing as long as he fights top guys. No more bums.

Canelo vs GGG is what's best regardless of which weight it takes place at

i'd say move up, and fight groves and winner of degale/jack after hes done with jacobs. Then ramirez. i dont trust any of the other middleweights to fight him, would serve canelo and de la ****** right aswell for waiting for him to get old, if ggg gives them the middlefinger and moves up to 168. Dont think canelos some earth shattering, amazing name to get on the CV either, lost every round to mayweather
