He's doing a horrible job like he does on HBO boxing. The ratings have been falling for that show since he took over. Nobody outside of boxing respects this guy, he's a joke. He's never worked a beat for a major sport. Stephen A. and Skip have. They've been in the locker rooms, the training camps, and have worked the beat. Boxing fans threw a fit when SAS did a boxing match. Now imagine how baseball, football, hockey, soccer, and basketball fans feel when they see Max talking sports.Comment

"Talking about pound for pound achievement wise, Pacquiao is slightly above Mayweather because he is the smaller man who was from Flyweight who won the lineal welterweight championship. But these two are an upper tier great, Pacquiao to me is a top 10 or 12 pound for pound all time great while Mayweather for me is top 10 to top 15 pound for pound all time great. But if you look at all time great rankings buisness wise, Mayweather is top 1 by beating every other fighter as in the whole fight game buisiness wise." - Max Kellerman.
His point were very interesting.Comment

The absolute WORST!!!! I don't understand why these people love him so much? Because he can name some 1940's fighter no one has ever heard of before? Remember when Dennis Miller was added to monday night football? That's who Max reminds me of. He told Hopkins the replay looked like he was shoved with a forearm.

Considering he's sitting opposite a bloke who probably had a fridge dropped on his head as a child, he's done pretty well so far.
Stephen A, unfortunately, drags down the quality of all discussions.Comment

you do realize he was just throwing hopkins a bone right. He not ruthless like larry merchant, I give you that but he does a good job and even that night he said he was a punch. The absolute WORST!!!! I don't see how SAS and Skip working the beat is relevant. They're still awful. He's doing a horrible job like he does on HBO boxing. The ratings have been falling for that show since he took over. That's my problem with Max. He goes along to get along. He has no integrity. If he makes a point an Roy disagrees he'll back down from his point. The interview with Pacquiao after the Mayweather fight. He backed down after getting criticized. He had Ward winning the fight the day of the fight. A week later he had Kovalev winning after public opinion had Kovalev winning. Dude has no backbone. His post fight interviews are trash. He doesn't have to be ruthless. Stevenson jumps into the ring on Kovalev. Max gets scared. Canelo calls GGG into the ring. Max never calls him over to the mic or give an in ring interview after Canelo said what he had to say. He doesnt have a backbone and he looks like a deer in headlights.
The HBO boxing cast needs to be replaced. It's stale. It's boring with Lampley, Max, and Roy.Comment
