Stiverne himself was never that good and he is 38 damn years old

Whyte is the new Chisora. Big heart, tough as nails but will never be a top fighter.

An official win over Dereck Chisora for one.

What real calibre fighters are being put down at the expense of Whyte?

Meh, he's nothing special. But the Chisora fight was a good watch, would definitely like to see it again.

No idea. He's not very good at all. Lost to Chisora on my card too.

I've never heard anyone say he's even good, but there's a buzz around him because he's good to watch...he reminds me a lot of Bert Cooper and the Chisora fight was awesome.

Take into consideration Whyte did well against Joshua in 2015, only one year after his 2 year ban had ended. In other words, he didnt have a pro fight for 2 years between 2012 to 2014 because he got banned after taking an off the shelf supplement. The Board tried to make an example out of Whyte and gave him a harsh ban, whereas Enzo Maccarellini took the same substance in the same year as Whyte, but he got only 6 month ban.

That long ban after only his 9th fight derailed him, now he's slowly improving. While he doesn't beat the very best yet and may never get to that level, I think Whyte would have beaten Charles Martin, maybe Lucas Browne and 50/50 with Joseph Parker, so from that perspective he's got the makings of a champ.

Whyte is OK, but maybe limited to a contender tbh.

He is good for the division though, a dangerous gatekeeper type.

I think he will make a good living out of boxing.

What is the hype?
what are you on about, cant say ive ever seen him getting hyped up. Hes a decent fighter, thats it, never going to be elite. Picked chisora to beat him and i thought he did
