What would you say was his best performances besides the first Leonard fight. I would say against Carlos Palomino. All his defensive talent is on full display in that fight.

The Palomino fight shows all of his greatness for sure. I almost have to go with the Barkley fight though. He was a huge underdog against a huge opponent in a truly David and Goliath situation. He came through in a big way there, which was also his last real significant win. At lightweight, I think he two wins over Dejesus were outstanding.

-The Palomino fight for an inside boxing clinic.
-The third DeJesus fight for a boxing clinic.
-The Moore fight for a brutal beating.
-The Barkley fight for toughness and skill.

Duran is the reason I fell in love with boxing
It was the second DeJesus fight, the intensity and skill was awesome.

The noticeable ones are already posted but I have to say the Hagler fight was a good one too. Even though he lost a close one, Duran's defense, slickness, subtle craftiness, willpower and versatility were on display in that one.

He was the only man at the time to take Hagler the full 15 rounds. Duran tired out near the closing and Hagler still couldn't knock him out, so that right there is a testament to Duran's greatness, being a former lightweight.

                the Barkley fight

a past prime bloated lightweight beating a legit MW champ in his prime,

                that's nothing short of impressive
