I wasn't too thrilled about this fight, but Chucky definitely has the right strategy in mind. If Flores can force Rigondeux to Brawl, Flores will win this fight. Weather the judges award him the decision is a different story.

I think Flores is good enough to push and test Rigo. If it's true that the Cuban has fallen off then Flores is the type of guy that can take advantage of it.

I doubt it's 10 million. These promotions like throwing around false figures.

However if it is true they've just thrown money down the drain.

If there is a step down for Rigo it isn't that much. He will have enough to beat this guy, with room to spare.

Flores has the right idea, but Rigondeaux's footwork is so good, he can probably pivot, and slip around any bullrushes all night. Flores would be smart to glue his right hand to his face as well, and make Rigondeaux beat him with his right hand. Rigondeaux is being trained by Pedro Diaz now. He will be unbeatable, until father time catches up. I look forward to this young opponent who seems to have a gameplan. At 5'9 he will have six inches on Rigs and reach as well. I'm eager to see a guy come at Rigs full bore so we can see Rigondeaux's new style of standing in front of the opponent. He said prior to the ****ens fight that he was no longer boxing and moving. That he would stand in front of every one. He stood in front of ****ens, but ****ens was scared to throw punches, after being staggered by Rigondeaux in the first round.

I don't know that he's lost a step. People don't realize he took the Francisco fight on a weeks notice. You can't get ready for a fight in a week. He also wasn't being trained by Pedro Diaz anymore then. He is back working with Diaz now, and he's stated on the record that, he will stand in front of every opponent from now on, with less movement, but that he can't make them throw punches. He pretty much stood in front of ****ens. He staggered ****ens in the first round the first time he went after him. ****ens was pretty passive after that. Admittedly, he could have been more offensive in that fight as well though. He has broken a few guys bones with single shots though. When you can do that, while being much smaller than your opponents, you don't have to take as many risks.

Everyone has the best strategy and swear they will be relentless against Rigondeaux, but then they get hit. The only fighter I've seen not get gun shy was that spaguetti monster dude that was 6 feet tall and all heart and Rigo broke his face for his trouble quite literally.

                  Yep thats him .

Rigo is a great counter puncher and if this guy thinks throwing manny punches is the key against Rigo, he will get countered verry often. Im fine with it though, if Rigo gets enough counter-possibilities it wont be boring. Its gonna be an impressive display of skill and counterpunching and hes gonna win by knockout.
