Does anyone have a belt other than Ward or Stevenson? Cuz right now, he loses to either of those guys.

The WBA Regular Belt is available from Cleverly... Beterbiev should also look for that one for now ...

Smith was just off balance for a sec. He may not go all the way, but for now he's a lot of fun to watch in the ring, and you cannot beat his work ethic. I think he could beat Williams Jr, Rodriguez, Barrera, Stieglitz, Pascal, Chilemba and some others. Currently, Ward would go into a run-for-your-life track meet, Kovalev would wear him down, and Beterbiev and Stevenson are more beatable than many fans realize, those 50/50 fights for Smith.

Had Fonfara kept his composure in that moment, the outcome might (might) have been different. Of the names you quote, as of now I think that Sullivan Barrera alone is enough to decisively beat Smith, let alone Beterbiev or Stevenson. And an in-shape Chilemba would also outpoint him.
Friend, there isn't much if any difference between 'reeling' and 'out on his feet'. As for the outcome, I think we'll see Smith's resolve is good, once he's in a tight situation. Question is, just how good is his resolve. I'm of the opinion it will be good. Not the greatest, but very solid. I think he beats most top LHWs.

        fight

        lemme say, seein that fight
from the 4th row, and fonfara bein my favorite LHW, that was a monster shocker. i brought 2 friends to their first prizefight that night and was
talkin up cleverly-fonfara sayin u gotta see this guy. then joe smith comes in like an irish jake la motta and rocky marcianos the guy.

From my perspective the important thing is that he gets a life changing payday now. Whether he actually wins the title or not is secondary.

If he can win that's great. But even if he looses he sets himself up in a good position financially. From there he can take his time and rebuild for another title run if he chooses, he's only 27.

I mean the payday will come eventually. The worst thing he can do is get thrown to the wolves, get KOed and never really advance his career. He's on a good path right now. I'm just saying you need to build up fighters the right way. He's only 27 you don't want to move him along too fast is what I'm saying. He's not even a full time fighter right now.
