I find this weird and cool at the same time. He says he doesn't do it because he needs the money but simply to keep himself busy while waiting for his next fight.

He says only a few of his clients recognize him but most of them have no idea who he is.

Imagine as a boxing fan, you're at the airport back from a trip, you're looking for a taxi and here comes Salido to give you a ride home.

If you plan to run off without paying the fare, you better run fast!

LOL. I doubt he has anybody try to stiff him and if they did, they knew they messed up. I mean this guy's just staying busy. I think it's a good idea over all. Idle hands have deteriorated a lot of careers.

A very humble dude and one of my favorite fighters to watch.

His war against Vargas is the Fight of the Year for me.

I frankly expect to see Golovkin driving a cab out in Boston.

Apparently he also owns several houses that he rents out along with a $700,000 apartment complex with 15 units. Plus he has a business that provides trampolines and barbeque for parties.

That's freaking awesome! He's being smart with his money and will have an income stream once his boxing career is over.

                  Other boxers should take note.

Seems like there would be better ways to make some extra income or to keep busy whatever the case, but if he enjoys it & it works for him fair play I suppose.

Yeah that's great. Whoever advises him seems to be doing a good job. I hate hearing about former world-class boxers struggling to make ends meet once retired because they never thought about investing or saving money. And it actually happens far too often.
