Why is Canelo making Chavez jr a priority over BJS?

If he fights jr first, then BJS in september, the Golovkin fight is moved to 2018... unless they fight on december.

He can fight BJS, then Golovkin in september, then he can fight Chavez jr later in 2018, once he's even more accostumed to the weight. And chavez jr has more time to rebuild his image. Better for both.

I hope it goes all wrong for him and he gets KTFO.

Dinero cash money. In all seriousness you can't trust Chaves to stay focused if they wait he probably gets KOd again

All fighters have money as priority.

But the fight looks bad anyway. Saying he's not ready for 160 then fighting Chavez Jr at 165 is ****ting on his fans that defended his stance on growing into 160 for the GGG fight. He looks pretty bad. I mean dropping the belt to duck GGG was already bad, now he's making a mockery out of his own name with this move.

i didnt think there would ever be a situation where i would root for chavez jr.
hopefully it doesn't come to that and he fights saunders/golovkin. i have no interest in chavez jr or a cotto rematch.

Don't get it twisted man. Memo + JCC Jr are a force to be wrecking with.

Heredia is a great S&C coach.

Canelo will be fighting a Cruiserweight on fight night.

                    Chavez is Dinero De Vaca.

BJS won't sell PPVs in the States. Especially since he turned down the chance to get his name out there to the American public on the Canelo vs Liam Smith undercard.
