With meldonium he had a case. Meldonium IS stored in fat, and when that fat is burnt the drug is released to the blood system, and can be detected later, after having passed tests.

I just don't buy this poor Russians getting unfairly tested narrative. Being able to cheat the system is seen as something immoral in the U.S at least by majority of the public but not in Russia but I don't blame them they don't have many alternatives there.
