      Havent seen anything really special about this kid. I dont see him going far at all.

        Verdejo is no Trinidad when he does finally step up he will be handled by either Mikey Garcia or Lomanchenko

          Thank the lord for Sosa and Pedraza. I remember people saying Verdejo would be champion in 2015, then 2016 and now 2017. This is one long build up. Verdejo will be a forty year old prospect at this rate,

                  23 years old , the kid should get to 35 fights before becoming a champion

                    I see why people thinks that Verdejo isn't all that, to be honest, i have the same feeling about JoJo Diaz and some others.
                    But back in 2012, besides the medalists, Verdejo was my favorite prospect out of the olympics, sadly, he has looked awful on his last fights, but i think is more about focus issues more than his ability itself, will see what happens.
