Who fought the better competition?

Manny "The Pacman" Pacquiao or Floyd "Money" Mayweather.

They both fought lots of good fighters. I gave Mayweather the edge because in the early years of their respective careers he fought better fighters than the guys Pacquiao was fighting. After Pacquiao teamed up with Roach his opponents were of equal quality to Mayweather's opponents overall. They both fought Marquez, Cotto and Mosley.

PAC did easy. He fought the more dangerous fighters and most of them in their prime where Floyd cherry picked everyone (post de la Hoya) including PAC

I would say Floyd. Pac's resume is top heavy with the likes of Morales, Barrera and Marquez, but I think Floyd has a longer list of reputable guys at the mid-tier level to give him the edge. Floyd's post-2009 run put him over the top.
