Liam Smith had never previously headlined a top show before the Canelo fight. He likely never will. Usually makes it onto the undercard of other British cards.

Canelo's fans don't hurt boxing at all. Canelo is a hell of a fighter and it is a treat to watch him fight. Canelo deserves every fan he has. I am proud to be a huge fan of his since very early in his career. He put on a great display of skill and power in both the Angulo and Smith fights. I am sure most people who saw those fights enjoyed both fights/ If you don't like Canelo then don't watch him but why trash his millions of fans who love him?
