Khan Hints At Retirement Plan.. Can Boxing Survive Without Him? (VIDEO)

In a shock announcement which brought almost the entire boxing world to a near stand still, Amir Khan recently hinted that there's a reasonable chance he may retire within only 3 decidedly brief years. Will boxing survive without one of the most entertaining fighters to ever lace them up or does Khan's imminent departure signify a Death Sentence for boxing as a sport, with a final execution date to be scheduled for some time within the next 36 months? Are we witnessing the last days of boxing or will it find some way to survive the loss of perhaps one of it's greatest participants since Ali?

I wouldn't lose any sleep over his retirement. Probably in his best interest to stop getting knocked out.
