I think we are on a verge of a new golden age in boxing. An extremely good pool of talent is coming up from all over the world. It is going to be great.

the decline of heavyweight boxing is not true

Povetkin is the most impressive in terms of style and natural talent. If he's brought along properly he will hold a belt some day, maybe more than 1.
Sultan Ibragimov has good skills too. We'll see if he can handle the really big punchers in the division in the future, such as Sam Peter.
Boytsov is very young, and if he's brought along correctly he could be a major factor for many years.
Chapman is young and very big. I haven't seen him in action yet but his record looks very good for a guy in his early 20s.
Chazz Witherspoon has the genetics to go places, being the son of "Terrible" Tim Witherspoon. I haven't seen him in action either but I'm looking forward to it.
Greenburg could be a factor very soon. He's only 23, has a good record and has beaten some respectable journeymen.

I think it will take a while before the divison is revived but go figure that they would rather get paid to sit at home when they are injured in the nfl rather than get the crap beat out of them and then get sick and die a t home because they got punched one to many times in the head

There may not be 1 great star fighter in the heavyweight division at the moment but there are a number of good ones. I've seen a few up and coming heavyweight fighters that look really good to me. Some of the most promising ones are Povetkin, Sultan Ibragimov and Denis Boytsov from the former Soviet Union, Roman Greenburg from Israel, and John Chapman and Chazz Witherspoon from the USA.

I definently think it's going to get interesting to see how the picture unfolds. I'm looking foward to hopefully seeing Rahman/Wlad.
