  • Now Jacobs has no chance? I thought he had a better resume!

He has a better resume, but he has no chance? how does that work? I thought resume was very important, and now it's not important anymore? GGG hasn't proven shit "cuz he resume doe", but now resumes doesn't matter?

Thanks for recognizing GGG is great then... he doesn't even have a resume and he's the super favourite against the proven Jacobs.

You have a point: many on this site state that Danny Jacobs has a better resume while going out of their way to say that GGG's opposition is garbage.

Now that the fight is signed, the same posters who bashed his opposition all-of-a-sudden, and unbiasedly, backtrack on the hate and explain why GGG will easily beat him.

He can't get a break, it seems. Just goes to show the GGG hate is real.

You seem to completely miss the point, people DO think Golovkin is good and therefore want him to fight guys who will challenge him. Wade and Brook weren't challenges, not before, not after.
Jacobs is better, but few ever thought he would beat Golovkin.

Everyone vs. Golovkin is a mismatch until he goes to LHW, which he'll be severely undersized for. If he gets there, he'll be "Arthur Abraham" level. If he loses against a top contender at MW or SMW, he'll be "Alexander Brand" level overhyped bum.

Long story short, most people are too ***ing ****** to understand what they're saying. Ignore them. There are a LOT of idiots in the world.

Great resume doesn't equal great chin.

I've been saying for a long time ain't no challenges south of 168, and even then I think he clears the decks there too. Hence my disappointment he continues to campaign at 160 but he's scoring big pay days so I don't begrudge him this is prize fighting after all not legacy building.

My favorite is when they post pictures of GGG next to other fighters to show how big he is. It's so ****** that using their logic you could make the case that Mayweather is big enough to fight Ward cause he is taller than Canelo in the pics, and Canelo and GGG are about the same height, and GGG and Ward are about the same height.
