Agree. Watch the boxingego post on this on youtube - he sums it up. Basically he said he's never dissed GGG, but if GGG took anything less than 35% he wouldn't stop dissing him for being an idiot.

I hope GGG sticks to his guns and just says 35% or no fight. If GBP won't offer more than 35%, then go elsewhere and assume it was never meant to be. I also hope JCC Jr sticks to the 30% or no fight too.

Loeffler is not the right promoter for a fighter who wants to fight 4 times a year. Go with Dibella, or Arum, or even Don King.

Hope K2 and GGG yearns for better competition on a consistent basis.....the last 3 years of incessant excuses..."he trying to unify doe"..."he too small to move up to 168 doe"....."they ducking doe" has gotten old and is beating a dead horse

Fighting better comp shuts up his critics, and prevents his die hard fans to have to make excuses for dominic "house arrest" wade and Curtis"top ten but never beat a top ten contender" stevens.....can't forget Martin " lost to a shot Abraham" Murray

time is running out...he can fight 50 times a year but if his competition remains C and D level, they are wasting the man's career and time.

So you would prefer everyone to fight only 1 or 2 times a year? You should applaud established fighters wanting to fight more than 2 times a year.

Also... if everything works, 2 of the 4 fights will be against jacobs and Canelo. Both of these fights will be on PPV. Both of these fights wont take money out of HBOs boxing budget.

If he fights Canelo and Jacobs next year, for all I care he can fight cabdrivers inbetween. He still would have, if he wins, 2 signature wins.
If he sneaks in Saunders, Khurtsidze or Derevchanyenko even better.

dont you know how it works around here? If its a PBC fighter, then its ok to fight only once or twice a year, and its also ok for one (or both) of those fights to be a tuneup against a dummy.

But if you are a non-PBC fighter, and perhaps have a somewhat pale complexion, then you MUST fight at least 3-4 times a year, and every fight MUST be against whichever boogeyman the Haymon sycophants have decided is being ducked

agreed.....why fight 3 no names and one decent fighter...when he can fight one decent fighter then fight an elite one.....quality>quantity

not likely, as he will have an IBF mando due.......

dont know if you are sarcastic, but which fighter on a championship level under arum, dibella or don king fights 4 times a year?

Since he had his first showcase on hbo against proksa in 2012.
                He had
                4 fights in 2013
                3 fights in 2014
                3 fights in 2015
2 fights in 2016, the december ggg jacobs date was scratched, because they couldnt get on the right terms.

                Boxrec p4p top 20:

                Alvarez 2013-2016: 2,2,2,2 fights
                Pacquiao: 1,2,1,2
                Crawford: 3,3,2,3
                Thurman: 3,2,2,1
                Frampton: 2,2,2,2
                Lara: 2,2,2,1
                Ward: 1,0,1,3
                Kovalev: 4,3,2,3
                Gonzalez: 3,4,3,2
                Garcia: 2,2,2,2
                Porter: 3,2,2,1
                Stevenson: 4,2,2,1
                Jacobs: 2,2,2,1
                Brook: 2,2,2,2
                Khan: 1,2,1,1 (lol)
                Bradley: 2,2,2,1
                Jermall: (7),3,3,2
                Ortiz: 2,2,3,3
                Lomachenko: 1,3,2,2

So the only boxers who have more or as many fights as golovkin in the last three years were kovalev, Gonzalez and Jermall Charlo.

So where are all the 4 times a year boxer under arum, dibella and king?

GGG has had an easy road thus far in his career. Please stop acting like the bar is being raised for him because he has a "pale complexion". If anything, his "pale complexion" is the reason his fans rank him so high p4p without him ever having defeated a top tier opponent.

Stop this white victimhood BS. GGG has a resume that isn't worthy of his skillset. Someone like you that has history in the sport knows this.

Diehard boxing fans just want to see him fight a quality opponent instead of the bums he has been fighting, thats why people suggest the DeGale/Jaack winner or Ramirez. The reason Haymon fighters are mentioned is because it's clear GBP doesn't want him to fight Canelo and most know Lara or Charlo and not the obscure European names mentioned.

To each is own I guess. I won't watch mismatches. I do not enjoy watching a guy way better beat on much, much lesser talented boxer just for fun.

throw that race crap out the window

                      1) white people on this site made him their great hope, even though the guy is an asian, born in asia....now thats hilarious..its sad because many are native born americans of european descent...stop deflecting...whites have been having a great "hope" over a hundred years....black, asians and latinos dominate boxing so there is no need to "hate" the minority lol

hell europeans created racism, eugenics.....because they needed to feel superior, although scientfically they never were and are not today....so its its funny when whites cry racism, when your people created racism and benefit off it

need the definition...here you go....prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior:

now you tell me who lead a world wide campaign trying to prove false superiority? when in reality you were not born with resistence to UV rays, have greater propensity to many diseases, reproduce at a slower rate, higher rates of impotence, and have had a black market for melanated peoples organs for your survival.

news flash...you hype a fighter as monster....you expect them to fight elite opposition not guys on house arrest, top ten fighters who never beat top ten fighters(stevens. murray, macklin) and have to go years hearing excuses why he hasnt fought an elite fighter, yet he is supposed to be a top 5 p4p fighter(with one of the thinnest resumes of any top 5 fighter in any division)
