I can't tell if the cat is serious or not. Is 5 mil enough for Andre to walk away? There's nothing for him to prove, but like you I'd like to see him at least face Stevenson, which of course won't, or at least doesn't deserve to be, a PPV fight. Is the Kov rematch PPV worthy?

Point being, he's got enough bank to call it a day, but there's still scraps left on the table. Scraps, as in, less than Ward/Kov 1 and probably the rematch. I wouldn't be shocked to see him follow though and retire.

I do not think the Kov rematch is PPV worthy. It only did 160K the 1st time. Is Stevenson vs. Beterbiev PPV worthy? How about Kovalev vs. Beterbiev? Is Stevenson vs. Ward PPV worthy? I think Ward could cash out with Stevenson! A win over Stevenson would make him the unified and lineal LHW Champion, and that would put him in the HOF on the 1st ballot!

Come on Andre, sign with Showtime for a couple fights. Set the fight sooner than later so that Kovalev/Duva will be trapped again, ask for a purse bid and see how it goes... You then come to Montreal where we know how to make things great and fight Stevenson in a 24,000 packed Bell Center...

Beterbiev only has 10 fights and it hasn't been against top opponents. He shouldn't be discussed for PPV anything unless he's on the undercard... Any combo of Stevenson, Kovalev, or Ward are important enough to boxing's determination of who is the best that I view it PPV worthy. However, their names don't generate enough $ to say that those fights are PPV worthy. Diehards will likely pay. Casuals won't.

Also, Ward is already a 1st ballot HOF with or without a Stevenson win.
