The Bottom Line on Ricky Hatton

Is this. He won a title in a weight class in which he'd never fought against a tall, rangy southpaw (the toughest, most awkward type of opponent to face) in a country in which he'd never fought and scored a knock down in doing so.

No matter how you slice it, you have to give him his props. And that's just being respectful to our sport.

I agree, he deserves his props, no matter how much anyone complains about his tactics.

Good responses so far. I think Collazo fans/Hatton haters are starting to quiet down, especially after watching the replay today.

I will say this, however. My dad was watching a couple rounds of the fight and thought Collazo won; HOWEVER, he was NOT scoring round by round. It's easy to say Collazo won if you don't score every round and add up the points later.,
