Ward keeps talking a bigger paycheck, when he knows the purses have already been agreed upon before the first fight.

If your Ward hero demands more than the initially agreed amount for the rematch, and threatens retirement, that is a flat out duck and you can't call it anything else.

Say what you want, but I'm a Ward fan and I and him to quit with the retirement talk and rematch the man. The fight was hella close and warrants a rematch. It's only right. Said the same thing about Floyd/Maidens. Just go ahead and take the rematch.

I don't think he's really scared though, it might just be posturing. If he really retires, it will be cowardly move and will make it really hard to respect him.

On another note..Kovalev needs quit sounding like a straight B I, talking about look at my Instagram. Sounding real feminine right now.

If he doesn't rematch Kovalev, anyone with a pulse should read that as a duck. No excuses.

If he demands more than the initial agreement for the rematch (agreed upon before the first fight), threatens retirement if he doesn't get his way, that's a duck, plain and simple. No other way to describe it. And IF that happens, you should be mad too, from him robbing the fans of a great fight.
When that happens then fans should be judgemental and upset. It hasn't happened yet so I can't understand why the **** talk and name calling towards Ward. It's just like yall say with Trip and Alvarez...there is plenty of time to negotiate and make the fight.

So basically you have decided what's fair for Ward and his career and what's fair for Trip. Thus the application of a certain logic to Ward that isn't applied to Trip.

Ward said he could walk away from boxing without the right deal moving forward. That's all he said. You're adding to it to support your jaded unfounded position. I gave you multiple ways deal could be interpreted. You chose to ignore them because some had nothing to do with Team Kovalev. As if Ward's priority should be fighting Kovalev in a rematch and not his career.

Your entire position on this matter is based on demands Ward hasn't made and contract details you aren't privy to.

every kovalev fan had kovalev winning
every neutral fan had kovalev winning
every casual fan had kovalev winning
some ward fans had kovalev winning
some ward fans(the hardcores, the "body works") had ward winning(by 1 point lol)

yeah it could have gone either way........

this is ward's career. the fights with kovalev will define his career because its the best guy he will ever fight and almost everyone thought he lost. if he doesn't fight again maybe he can squeek out some more money fighting bums but this robbery will dog him the rest of his career. its already tearing him up inside and hes crying over and over.

he wishes now that he had lost so he could fade away in peace but now he will never ever have peace knowing he stole it and everyone hates him and a guy like ward just wants to be liked. thats his biggest goal. look at his words in the past about not getting credit, i deserve this, i deserve that. now he has negative credit for getting a robbery and he can't handle it.

he wishes he could redeem himself but hes scared. hes between a rock and a hard place. take the criticism for the rest of his life or take the rematch and lose again. he knows he has to win legit this time or the criticism will be twice as bad so he's stuck. mentally his brain has melted.

If ward don't give rematch he's not honourable rather than coward.
Sri v haggler was closer than kov v ward. Srl v haggler was controversial. Kov v ward was closer to robbery

All the fighters were guaranteed 600k a fight from what I recall. Hardly free.

I can't find any information on the Net regarding the purses in the Super Six... But is possible that I remember wrongly...
