This guy was in the running before Wilder got injured. Post injury it's somewhat more acceptable, but this should never be considered an official title defence. That'll be five defences of the WBC heavyweight title, and not one of those worth any salt, two of them, even three, downright dreadful.

I already gave you guys the reasons for such opposition don't hate Wilder for the actions of these cowards...all you guys can do is postulate who coulda shoulda without any sound reasoning; ignoring relevant information connected to these events.

hmmm lets see if Pedvetkin and Stiverne passed their drug test and actually fought...maybe Deontay would of had the winner next....huh no wonder the WBC had to issue an eliminator in Chisora-Whyte as a backup plan because apparently these guys are too scared to face Wilder.

I thought all the precious little fanboys were resident in Youtube comments section but I guess not.

Firstly if Wilder's hand/bicep was still questionable he wouldn't be stepping into the ring. There is no way they would risk potential millions in future earnings fighting a nobody while carrying such an injury. He is fighting Andrzej Wawrzyk as its yet another easy pickings to pad his career. Its a shocking fight and shouldn't happen.

Secondly people are coming to his defence (usually about the so called hand injury) while completely ignoring all the other garbage fights he has taken. It isn't about this one fight it is about his very questionable defences to date.

Wilder imo could be a top class boxer but unless he steps up his game and enters the ring against the top fighters his legacy will sadly be worthless.
