We will have to wait to see what the WBC does with it's mando spot. Whyte/Stiverne in final eliminator or is Stiverne the mando?
Exactly. People expect him to jump right into a big fight after two surgeries. They just want to see him lose by any cost.

Was Povetkin on the juice? Was he just coming back from major surgeries?

After "two big surgeries" He shouldn't even be in the gym yet let alone fully rehabbed and in training camp.

They made the injuries up to buy more time for another easy fight.

Deontay Wilder is taking an injury fight against a solid, though not spectacular, heavyweight who patterns the dimensions for Joshua/Wilder.

Beyond, looking at the un-updated WBC rankings (with the WBC still stating that Stiverne has to fight an eliminator), you're also likely looking at a Stiverne vs Gerald Washington fight (a fight that Stiverne could possibly lose), with Washington beindanother one of the giants.

Folks who expected him in their against a killer, off of just having his arm put back together, are silly.
