Well after those broken hands, fingers and messed up bicep I did not expect a Good or even decent opponent.
With that being said Im glad Wilder stays active.
Better that he fights than just sits around

Wilder loves fighting those Polish fighters. First Szpilka and now Wawrzyk.

It took Povetkin three rounds to take him out. Can Wilder finish him faster?

I wasn't expecting a tough opponent coming off the surgeries.

Really hope Wilder goes against a big name opponent after this though. I'm a Wilder fan but I gotta admit his resume is pretty weak at the moment. I blame Ped-vetkin for part of that but still his team needs to match him tougher.

Anyway this fight will end in a Wilder KO victory. War Bombzquad!

I think looking at how a certain demographic of fans talks about GGG compared to the pass they give to Deontay Wilder is an absolute case study in the double standard, and racial fandom, of that group of fans. Because Wilder doesn't even call out the top opponents, or even try. Klitschkos always fought mandatories so if Wilder had wanted to fight the Klitschkos, he could have years ago!

But unlike GGG, who would have loved to have champs willing to face him, Wilder never wanted to face the best. That's why despite his exciting style, I can't be a fan. He's a protected fighter. That's not what I want out of my heavyweight champion.

This is a truly dreadful fight, about as bad as they could possibly have come up with.

Certainly a soft touch, he should pick it up the rest of the year.

Yuckkk... :yuck: Couldn't they give Pulev a call? He's ranked top 5 by the WBC, and will be waiting ages for that IBF shot.
