I think groves is very underrated. I take him by decision.

I think he puts Groves away in the later rounds. I like George but he's looked so vulnerable in the last couple years. McGuiggan doesn't seem to have tightened up George's game at all.

Gilberto can beat Groves easily. He's pure talent.

I always respect both of your posts. I am bias because I want to see Zurdo do well but i think this fight would go to the busier fighter in Zurdo no matter by decision or tko. I think itd show TR & Zurdo confidence if he came back against a guy like groves though.

Could be the 168lb version of LSC vs Frampton.

              Groves is damaged goods.

He's been so loose since getting flattened by Froch. His defence was always a little leaky, but even his punches are no longer tight/compact, everything is just loose.

With all that said, even a faded Groves would have a chance in this fight. Problem is, he has terrible stamina and that would be trouble against a high volume guy.

In a similar fashion to how Amir Khan is arguably the new "king of the four rounders" (unless you blast him out early, it think it'd be hard for anyone to beat Amir Khan in a 4-round fight), George Groves is a really really good 8-round fighter who seems to have developed this habit of consistently fading late.

No idea how good Zurdo is, tbh, but if he can still press the fight late, he has the chance to take the fight from Groves.
