You could be right but I would love to see him face either one.

if I was a pro boxer and fought Golovkin, I'd just kick him straight in the balls and then brag forever that he couldn't KO me like the rest of them

He definitely is not good enough to stay long and counterpunch Gennady Golovkin. He'll get slaughtered trying that. His best chance is making this an inside firefight, where Golovkin is weak and Jacobs can land his power.

Kovalev and Ward are on another league then guys like Lemiuex or Monroe, Ward and Kovalev are both top 5 P4P no one Golovkin can stop them, I believe the both beat Golovkin pretty easily tho

He's gonna have to use Plan B except for the "running" part for the first 8 rounds, just make it ugly for as long as he can in hopes of wearing GGG down, Jacobs is the bigger, heavier man on fight night so he might just make it a street fight until GGG loses some of his power then try to box and win the later rounds, he can't be midrange or outside of range in the first 4-5 rounds with GGG, the longer that fight goes the better it is for Jacobs and the closer he is to GGG the safer he will be, ignore the referee, foul subtely and even if the ref takes a point away don't let up until u really feel that GGG is really worn down, then u box him and try to win rounds. Ward or Hopkins would've shown the whole world how effective that style would've been against GGG but we never saw it. Deep water and drown him style.

But even if he executed it to a T they're gonna give it to GGG if it went the distance because he's the HBO sweetheart and the fight is on HBO, GGG is the clear fan favorite in this fight and I have no doubt in my mind that he's gonna get the benefit of the doubt in a close fight especially against a Haymon fighter on HBO. They're gonna say that GGG was the aggressor and Jacobs ran and held, Jacobs has to do some real damage late to win that fight, maybe drop GGG or even stop him late, which is not out of the realm of possibility due to GGG's inexperience in the championship rounds and Jacobs power, if the fight goes to the late rounds we will find out a lot about both guys especially GGG,

GGG has some experience in the championship rounds though which his Murray. He went to the distance against heavy punchers in abraham and Martinez. And GGG stopped him at 11th so even if it does go to the champion rounds GGG has the stamina to do it.
