Hoping Joe Smith has a great career

He KO'd the legend who was actually the betting favourite even with his age. I really hope to see this guy go onto win a world title he seems like a nice guy and it would feel better to me if Hopkins passed the torch to a future champion. The guy did something I never thought I'd see and I wish him all the best.

he just fought a great fighter at the right time, i dont think he is all that good himself. ward, kovalev, stevenson and beterbiev all beat him rather easily imo. not sure he gets past alvarez, chilemba, rodriguez, williams jr or fonfara in a rematch for that matter.

maybe i missed something, i admittedly havent watched him very closely. but so far all ive seen is a strong guy with ordinary skills and intelligence wear down a shot old man and catch a fringe contender cold in the first.
