i need to see this fight. It better happen. I hate how all these people think they know what they are talking about whne the say mayweather would give hatton the beating of his life. It is one of the most evenly matched fights i can think of. They are both equally great at their styles. If hatton can just learn to protect his face, i see this as being an extremely close fight, but hattons style will force someone to get KOed. I dont think i can wait until 2007 for this fight though

No he beat Rivera for a guy who just moved up to 154 and looked real good againts Garcia who was a good champ. Id say Collazo is the real deal from what I saw last night.

Yea Rivera, a guy who had tons of trouble making 147 and felt weak from draining himself to make weight. And said moving up helped and he feels stronger and better at 154. But yea Rivera got the vacant title and lost it in his first defense. But either way, that by no means makes Rivera a real champ.

I still think Collazo beat Hatton though.

Well Hatton kicked the "real deals" ass last night, I agree, 6?% of BoxingScene agrees, all of the judges agree, and even America agrees that our own lost to a Brit.

                Suck it up *******.

America? When did you talk to America? And even if you think Hatton won he kicked nobodies ass last night.

The threadstarter and anyone else defending the legitimacy of Collazo's strap is either a Hatton nuthugger or a complete ****ing moron. Collazo beat Rivera when, who was the WBA "regular champion" while Judah was Undisputed before the loss to Baldomir. In other words the only thing the guy accomplished was becoming a glorified mandatory. The title Hatton won last night is a paper alphabet belt that was just handed to Collazo after Judah lost. How anyone can praise Hatton for taking on Collazo while trashing Mayweather for fighting Judah is beyond me.

The real deal? When the **** did Collazo become a world beater? Quit kissing Hatton's scrote. The guy won a close fight, but he sure as hell didn't kick anyone's ass.
