        Leaderboard updated

Earlier on the picks were roughly 2-1 for Sulli, in line with the betting odds. The late picks and pick changes were largely in favor of Smith, tightening the line to 57-43 in favor of Sulli.

Over 90% picked Berchelt over Miura, correctly eschewing the betting odds which valued him at just over 70% to win. Despite this, no one used a multiplier.

One thing I noticed is that, when players are making their first pick in one of my threads, they disproportionately pick the wrong fighter to win. So you should probably steer clear of a fighter if a lot of unfamiliar names are picking that fighter.

But actually the most simple advice seems to be to just pick the favorite all the time. The AI player is flying up the rankings after almost every update, and I still haven't applied his multipliers. There has been a disappointing lack of upsets among fights included in the game. It might be time to consider looking for difficult to pick / close odds fights that are not necessarily super big fights.

Also I was surprised at how little interest there was in Berchelt-Miura

At just 64 picks, it was the lowest turnout for any thread since I changed the pick format to a poll. This is in contrast to 93 for Smith-Barrera, which was closer to typical as of late.

I also noticed that the Berchelt v Miura didn't have near as many picks. That was strange to me. Anyhow, Brometheus Bob, you are the man; and moving on up as of late.

Agree, I say betting odds at the time of the fight should reflect the points given for a fight. But idk if midseason is the time to alter the rules that much.

In fact I'd say using the UK odds multiplier could be the game multiplier. So if you got a -200 guy who won than if you got 30pts for that result x it by 1.5 for 45pts, but if you picked the opponent at +110 & he wins you x it by 2.1 & if you got 30pts it'd be 63pts after the multiplier.

Then you can still do the 3x & 2x multipliers as usual on top of the odds multipier.

Although things could get crazy in those last few weeks if guys are betting +2000 (21x) dogs & getting 630pts (or 1,890 if you use your 3x) for it if it hits, but maybe that makes the game more fun & exciting to as guys could make insane comebacks off of insane upsets.

Foreign lil guys don't never get the respect they deserve, even in pick em games.
