I removed from the leaderboard all players with fewer than 50 pts. However, I have all scores and picks saved, so if any of the nearly 400 people who fit into that category should move above 50 pts they will become visible in the leaderboard.

Yea I'd vote against that rule if giving it a choice cuz I don't see the upside in minimizing the usage of your multiplier.

If anything I'd like to see odds weighed more heavily into the points given for a fight if anything. And I think the multipiers should keep working like they work.

For example I don't think the Stevenson vs Fonfara II fight should have had as many possible points rewarded for a Stevenson pick as other fights with more closer odds. I know BB gots a 3x the points thing with picking the dog in wider fights like that, but I don't believe that is worthwhile enough vs the true odds of the fight to pick the dog. More importantly I don't think that reduces the upside for picking a wide favorite. So if I'm picking a -200 favorite who wins & Adonis who wins as a -1000(?) favorite, or whatever his odds to win were, I'm getting the same potential points for both (considering how things work out with the type of outcome & all that too obviously).

It makes the game more complicated to setup I'm sure, but I'm no brogrammer at all so who f#cking knows, but that would more accurately represent how quality of a predictor you are cuz saying Adonis beats Fonfara or other wide fights ain't got sh^t on picking the winner for GGG vs Canelo or other closer fights.

And I think wrong picks should lose you points too so some cats in this game would even have negative points if they suck bad enough or take too many risks.

A solid take..I kind of wish we couldn't use multipliers on Crawford when he's fighting a tuneup or maybe a fight like that shouldn't be in the game

Hey Bob! What about even odds but if I take Horn and win I get a bonus 3x multiplier to use when I want?? It could keep people from being mathematically eliminated by Memorial day

Idk I like the wild card element of the multipliers. It gets people trying or preferring certain strategies over others for sure doe. I'd rather have multipliers gone completely then to minimize the options one can use them in.

I think you work it all out better by just properly weighting outcomes based on odds. So if my -2000 pick to win can only get me 20pts, but my -150 pick can get me 120pts the multipliers get worked out to having broader usage among all sorts of fights vs primarily wide odd fights now.

Damn, I go from first to not even getting a medal right now. I was hoping Bob was never going to input that Ward/Kovalev fight, alas he is too diligent. This is the first time I've ever really looked at the entire leaderboard and holy **** I had no idea so many people were playing. Bob is a real ****ing trooper for doing this **** and we should all be groveling at his feet.

True but you do still have a multiplier left. RockyB and Siablo passed you but they also used their last multipliers in the process.

That's nothing, there are almost 400 people I didn't include in this version of the leaderboard with scores less than 50 pts The total number of unique users, as far as I can tell, that have participated is 532. But there is a chance that some of those users are people who've changed their usernames and not informed me of such, resulting in two entries for that user.
