Tarver has been hurt in only one fight that I have seen and that was against Eric Harding the first time around (Harding broke his jaw and knocked him down). Other than that, I'm dying to know how a ****ing middleweight who doesn't even KO middleweights is gonna KO the Light Heavyweight King.Comment

All I know is, I'm not paying for this bull****. And I won't order it, unless my buddies are willing to chip in to pay for it, which they likely will.Comment

I think Tarver will win in a snoozer. These are 2 guys who are cautious counter punchers that don't give you much of a target. This style match up is really ugly, the type of fight Antonio Tarver does not need. Tarver's popularity is sinking to all time lows right now. He doesn't fight regularly, has only fought against Jones and Johnson since 2003, and is coming off of a snoozer against an over the hill Roy Jones.
This fight will really put a nail in the coffin with regards to Tarver's marketability. I suspect that after this fight, he will find that there aren't many big money opportunities at lightheavyweight.
He will then make an ill-advised decision to move up to heavyweight where he will bite off more than he can chew. After losing at heavyweight, where does he go from there? He has struggled for years to make lightheavyweight, so it is doubtful he will go back. He would probably take off some weight, move down to the cruiserweight division, and have mixed success in the twilight of his career.
His plan of selecting big money, over the hill legends instead of young legitimate contenders is going to take its toll on Tarver's career. At this point, hes simply in it for the money.Comment
